Sixth Form Courses

Please see below the advanced level courses that the college offers in Years 12 and 13, provided there are sufficient numbers to make teaching groups viable.

A-Level Courses (normally require grade 6 at GCSE - check with subject leaders for specific requirements)

AS – this is a Level 3 course and it is assessed in a more ‘traditional’ exam format. 

 

Level 3 Vocational Courses:

BTEC – this is a Level 3 course and it is assessed through coursework and continuous assessment. 

 

Level 2 Vocational Courses:

Level 2 – this is a lower tier of qualification and will give the candidate a qualification that is equivalent to GCSE.
