YEAR 11 - Intervention & Support
Year 11
Pre Public Exams (PPEs) 2 begin next week on Tuesday 27 February to Friday 1 March for English, maths and science. We know this is an intensive week for year 11 but hope that they will see this as an opportunity to show how much progress they have made in their core subjects since PPE1 in December. As a reward to those who make the most progress we will be giving a number of gift tokens out once we have all the results. More information regarding this for students will be given by their tutors.
All students have their individual timetables and seating plans. To access the timetable, please click on the link below.

Other subjects will be setting formal assessments in class from Monday 4 march onwards and these along with PPE 2 results for core exams, will help us inform the final current and predicted grades that will be issued to you at the end of this term.
It is also a busy half term for students in any subjects with coursework so please support us by ensuring they are completing it and attending any sessions aimed at supporting wither coursework completion by the deadlines of for any other intervention sessions after college that are offered to them. They really can help with revision and improving their grades for their final exams. Please see below for the open intervention sessions being offered currently.

There are also a number of sessions where students have been invited specifically in English, maths, history and geography. If your child has ben invited please do support us by asking them to attend. Thank you to Miss Greeves and Mr Ahluwalia who invited some students in for targeted work over half term and to the students who did attend. We hope they found them useful. Well done also to students sitting their Food tech practical exams currently and hope everything has gone to plan!
