Today we bid farewell to the following staff who will be leaving us at the end of term: Mrs Burton (Art), Mr Davies (Science), Mrs Harrop (Business Adviser), Mr Draycott (Deputy Network Manager), Ms Weston (Art), Mrs Forester (TA) and Mr Ramadan (Mathematics).
Thank you to all of these colleagues for their service to the College and special best wishes to Mrs Harrop on her retirement.
We are also sorry to be saying farewell to governors, Mr Field and Mr Stirrup. We thank them both for their service to the College community and the very important contribution they have made to the College’s development. A special thank you to Mr Field has given 10 years of sterling service as a governor to the College community.
A number of new colleagues have joined us recently or will be joining us in January 2020, these include Mrs Walters (Lead Practitioner in Technology), Mr Evans (Mathematics), Mr Hall (Joint Head of Art), Mrs Chong (Art Technician), Mr Bardis (Computer Science), Mrs Mumford (English), Mrs Alsford (Learning Mentor), Mr Cable (HLTA Rise@GHC) and Miss Steede (HLTA).
Congratulations also go to the following staff recently appointed to new posts within the College, these include Dr De Bruin (Lead Practitioner in Science), Mr Robertson (Head of Rise@GHC), Mrs Rice (Lead Practitioner at Rise@GHC), Miss Pullinger (Deputy SENDCo Rise@GHC), Mrs Hawkins (Assistant Outdoor Learning Coordinator), Mrs Russell (i/c Therapies and EHCPs Rise@GHC), Mrs Dimelow (Acting Second-in-Charge English) and Mrs Collins (Business Assistant).
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Sprott for carrying out the role of interim Head of Rise@GHC since half term, and also to Mr Mortimer for Acting SENDCo during this same period. Mr Mortimer will be on a sabbatical for one term after Christmas. We look forward to welcoming him back in April 2020.
