Cobras Extend Winning Streak

The Garth Hill Cobras came into this game looking to extend their winning streak after back-to-back victories, this time facing Guilford County on home court.

The Cobras started strong, with point guard Seb Williams catching fire early — sinking three three-pointers in the first quarter, while Samuel Spring electrified the crowd with a couple of emphatic dunks. The team’s energy and precision helped establish a commanding 24–9 lead after the first 10 minutes.

In the second quarter, the Cobras continued to dominate through excellent defensive play and strong scoring from Aayan-Husny Al-Kanaan and Theo Georgakopoulos, stretching the lead to 47–22 at half time.

After the break, the Cobras’ defence reached another level, holding Guilford County to just one point in the entire third quarter. The team maintained their intensity to the final whistle, allowing only seven points in the second half. Both Lucas Shepherd and Aayan Tommy got on the scoresheet for the first time this season, rounding off an impressive team performance.
