Become a School Governor

Are you interested or do you know someone who might be interested in joining the College’s governing body? Governors play a very important role in schools, providing critical friendship, challenge and support. As unpaid volunteers, our governors do a great deal to help develop the College.

The Board of Governors is responsible for:

  • ensuring the vision, ethos and direction of the school
  • holding executive leaders to account for educational performance
  • strategic oversight for finances and resources

If you have experience of leadership, HR, finance, or law then your skills set may be well suited to school governance and we would welcome your interest.
