Sports trip and all day sport competitions as it gave us all time to have fun, play our favourite sports and improve a bond that has lasted with our whole team since leaving Garth Hill College in 2018 and Sixth Form in 2020.
Would you do anything differently if you had your time at Garth Hill again
I honestly don't think I would do anything differently as I made so many amazing memories with my friends and my school years were some of the best of my life. If anything, I would have improved my behaviour so that I could have reached my full potential.
What is the most valuable thing you learned at Garth Hill
The most valuable thing I learnt while at Garth was to take every opportunity I was given as it can develop into many greater things and give you better opportunities in the future.
What one piece of advice would you give to your 16 / 17-year-old Garth Hill self
To revise for all exams as A levels are much harder than GCSEs, to take any opportunity thrown your way and to just relax and have fun with your mates always as you are only young once.
Pathway after leaving Garth Hill
University
Describe your chosen pathway after leaving Garth Hill:
I chose to go to University to study Sport and Exercise Science. While at University I have learnt so much, made so many great memories and made friendships which will stick with me for life. I have taken on Vice-Captain of Rounders and am now partly in charge of a whole society. The step-up to University was quite large but once you get started it's great! You become so much more responsible as you are wholly responsible for yourself and it gives you lots of freedoms and opportunities to go and do great things.
