Thursday 24 November 2022 The GHC Reverse Advent Calendar Alongside our Employability schemes of work for KS3 and KS4 pupils at RISE@GHC and Citizenship for GHC main site pupils, we are once again launching The Reverse Advent Calendar in partnership with Kerith Community Church and the Trussell Trust. This charitable fundraiser is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn, appreciate and understand the importance of community, especially in terms of supporting individuals in our local Bracknell area who have fallen into hardship as a direct result of the cost-of-living crisis. This fundraiser will also allow pupils to build their empathy skills for others as well as to learn the practicalities of savings and budgeting. Last year, the donations from our RISE@GHC community were able to feed hundreds of families across Bracknell, this year we want to support even more families.
