Results dates for Summer 2026:
- Thursday 13th August: GCE, Level 3 BTEC and Level 2 Cambridge Technicals
- Thursday 20th August: GCSE, Level 2 BTEC, VCert. Functional Skills and Entry Level
How will results be delivered to students?
- 13th August – GCE (A ’Level) Level 3 BTEC and Level 2 Cambridge Tech
Students results will be made available via their SWS schoolworkspace app after 8.15am on the morning of results day.
If students cannot view their results by 9:00am then they must contact exams@garthhillcollege.com.
Will students be able to collect their results in person?
Results will be available as paper copies in the Inner Link (main building) from 9.00am - 11am. Students are welcome to come into college and celebrate with their friends and teachers.

Helpful hint: We recommend that students forward a copy of their results to their own personal email account or take a screenshot so they can view their results in the long term. Students not remaining at Garth Hill College will have their school email account disabled after one month and subsequently will not be able to access it on SWS schoolworkspace from the 1st October 2026.
(Due to data protection, results can only be issued to students and will not be e-mailed to a third party or to a student’s personal email address.)
It is very important that all students check that they can access their SWS schoolworkspace app. Students must check that this is accessible from electronic devices at home.
If you are unable to collect your results in person and would like someone else to do this you must provide written, signed permission for them to collect clearly stating their name. They must also provide their own photographic ID.
Queries about exam results
All questions about results will be dealt with centrally. All queries should be directed to the exams e-mail account exams@garthhillcollege.com. We ask that students do not contact subject teachers directly as they will not be available to assist individuals. During the summer holidays this inbox will be monitored regularly.

The Post Results Service provides students with;
- Access to their scripts to support a review of marking
- A Review of Marking – after the scripts (Exam papers) have been reviewed a request can be made by the students to support a review of marking for some or all papers.
a Review of Results (RoR) service which include a variety of options such as a clerical recheck, review of marking and access to your script.

Will students be able to get advice about their next steps?
- Information, Advice and Guidance will be available online, and in person, for each results day.
When will students find out about their Sixth Form place?
- Prior to their results day email students will receive an enrolment appointment that will take place on results day.
