Trips and Visits
We organise a wide variety of extra-curricular activities throughout the year to enhance our students’ educational experience. These activities include trips and visits. As you will appreciate, there are usually costs incurred with trips and visits, but we do our best to keep these as low as possible.
In line with our Trips & Visits Policy, the Governing Body will not allow any child to be prevented for reasons of financial hardship from taking part in an off-site activity which is a compulsory element of a subject’s examination course syllabus.
Parents/carers who find themselves in this situation should contact the Trip Leader who will discuss any particular concerns with them. The granting of funds to support is at the discretion of College’s Visits Coordinator and the Principal.
You can choose to pay by either of the following methods:
- Online payment for trips is available, to request a Link Code please email firstname.lastname@example.org
- Cheque, made payable to Garth Hill College
- Cash paid directly to the Finance Office.
