This new linear specification course is designed to encourage candidates to consider the practical application of business and economic concepts. The units provide students with the opportunity to explore the theories and concepts in the context of events in the business and economic world. The KS4 specification provides progression for those wishing to continue their studies to KS5 GCE Business.

Home Learning

Home learning is set every fortnight and will take pupils up to one hour to complete. Tasks range from practice questions to independent research and will link closely to the lesson content.

How Parents and Carers Can Support

Parents and carers can encourage pupils to complete home learning and engage with the content. Parents may find it useful to go onto the useful links below to get a feel for the subject specific content covered during the course. Prior to exams, parents and carers can encourage pupils to create a revision timetable to ensure revision for both the unit 1 and unit 2 exams is spaced evenly.
