Listed below is a small selection of former Garth Hill College students, giving a flavour of the diverse paths they have taken and the success they have enjoyed.

Amy Goodman, Artist in Residence, Winchester University       

Amy completed a Fine Art Degree in Southampton in 1997 and has been establishing herself as a Sculptor and Portrait Artist ever since. After a four year spell working in the South West of France, Amy returned to the UK in 2008 to become a resident artist at the inspirational Project Workshops in Hampshire. In July 2015 she had her life-size WW1 Romsey War Horse and Trooper unveiled by Princess Anne in Romsey’s War Memorial Park.

Daniella Relph, BBC Royal Correspondent

Daniella’s first job was in 1993 with the Sussex and Surrey BBC local radio station as a junior reporter and producer. She then moved to Southampton to TV South Today and subsequently to the BBC as a news correspondent reporting on general news and then sport, after which she took a post in Washington DC.  She now works as a royal correspondent alongside Nicholas Witchell at the BBC.

Adrian ‘Ady’ Williams, BBC Radio Berkshire

Adrian played football for Reading, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Millwall and Swindon Town. Ady also represented Wales at full international level and won 14 Caps.   After retiring from professional football in May 2008, ending a 19-year career in the game, Ady joined the BBC as a sports journalist, before becoming a sports presenter.  He currently works for BBC Radio Berkshire.  

Liam Griffin, Studying Chemistry at Jesus College, Oxford, 2016-2019

Liam is currently studying Chemistry at the University of Oxford.  After settling into routine after Freshers’ Week, a typical week at university for Liam is made up of 10 lectures, two full days in the labs as well as Maths and Physics classes and small group tutorials with the College professors.  We are delighted that Liam continues to keep us updated on his journey.

Adam Ford, Production Technician

Adam left Garth Hill College in 2012 with A levels in Music, Maths, Biology, Physics.  He went on to gain a BA (Hons) 1st Class in Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music.  Since graduating he has worked on numerous projects including the National Wedding Show, Ultimate Christmas Fair and various product conferences.

James Frost, Designer

James completed a BA in Textile Design at the University of the Arts, Chelsea College of Art & Design 2014-17 having previously completed a year of Foundation Studies -   Art & Design at the University of the Creative Art in Farnham.  James is now pursuing his dream as a designer working with clients worldwide.
